Who we are

Backdrip is operated by Florian Jousselin, NIP 5214178784, REGON 545666665. You can reach us at contact@scapin.co.uk.

By creating an account, adding a project, or using Backdrip, you agree to these terms.

Business use

Backdrip is offered for business and professional use. By subscribing, you confirm that you are using the service for a business, trade, or professional project and that you can enter into this agreement. Nothing in these terms limits consumer or sole-trader protections that cannot legally be excluded.

What Backdrip does

Backdrip prepares targeted blog articles, submits your website or product to relevant backlink targets, and brings publication and performance information together in a dashboard. We use your website, project details, and connected services to carry out this work.

Backlinks may be dofollow, nofollow, UGC, sponsored, pending, rejected, or removed. We aim for a natural mix and show the status we find, but we do not guarantee a specific link type, domain rating, ranking movement, traffic increase, publication date, or acceptance by any third-party website.

We aim to make one successful submission per project each day. If a directory process fails, we may set that directory aside, record the failure, and try the next eligible directory. If no unused eligible directory remains, no submission is made until more become available. A submission is not the same as an approved or live backlink.

The daily article service aims to prepare one relevant article per project per day once setup is complete. Generation and publication depend on your plan, settings, available research, supported integrations, and successful checks. Missing information, connection failures, deployment delays, or the absence of a suitable new topic may delay or pause the work. A prepared article is not necessarily published or indexed by a search engine that day.

AI-assisted content

Backdrip uses AI-assisted research and writing to prepare project profiles, keyword suggestions, submission material, and articles. Articles may include branded covers, sources, internal links, and a call to action based on your website. Generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or similar to other content.

You are responsible for reviewing content for accuracy, suitability, and third-party rights before publishing it, or for choosing to authorize publishing without individual review through autopilot. Automated checks do not replace your editorial or legal review.

Blog setup and publishing

Automatic setup and publishing currently support Next.js App Router websites using TypeScript, connected through GitHub. Other websites can use the article content and integration prompt for manual publishing. A prompt is not a guarantee of compatibility with every website or publishing tool.

When you connect a repository and request setup or publication, you authorize us to read relevant repository files and create the branches, commits, pull requests, and merges needed for the requested work, subject to your permissions and our checks. Setup can add blog pages, styling, content files, and related navigation or discovery files. Repository changes may trigger your hosting provider to deploy your website.

With autopilot off, you choose when to publish an article. Enabling autopilot authorizes eligible articles to be published without a separate approval for each article. You are responsible for selecting the correct repository and branch, keeping backups, and maintaining the permissions and hosting needed for publication.

Disconnecting stops new publishing work through that connection and removes the saved GitHub token from the active connection. It does not undo commits, close existing pull requests, remove published articles, or cancel deployments already triggered. A running job may need to finish before disconnecting. You can also revoke the token in GitHub and manage existing content directly in your repository.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for making sure the project information you submit is accurate, lawful, and that you have the right to promote the website, brand, assets, screenshots, logo, and contact details you add to Backdrip.

You authorize us to use that information to create submissions, open accounts where needed, manage listing updates, check backlinks, prepare articles, carry out the blog setup and publication you authorize, and report results for your project. Only connect accounts and repositories that you are authorized to manage. Do not provide confidential or sensitive personal information that is not needed for the service.

Your content

You keep ownership of the project information and assets you provide. You grant us the limited permission needed to host, format, transmit, and publish that material to operate Backdrip and carry out the directory submissions and article work you request. To the extent permitted by law, we assign to you any rights we hold in the generated article content delivered for your project. This does not transfer rights in our software, third-party material, or content we do not own, and does not guarantee that AI-generated material qualifies for copyright protection or is exclusive to you.

Published articles remain on your website when you cancel or disconnect. Third-party sources, logos, images, and other materials remain subject to their owners' rights and applicable licenses.

Third-party websites

Backdrip submits to websites we do not own or control. Their rules, review process, link attributes, publication timing, pricing, and removals can change at any time.

We do not enter payment details or buy paid placements unless you explicitly ask us to do so. If a target later changes a live backlink to nofollow, sponsored, removed, or another status, we may update your dashboard to reflect what we find.

Domain Rating

Backdrip may display Domain Rating by Ahrefs for your domain and for backlink targets. Domain Rating is provided by Ahrefs, and values can change over time.

We store the values we fetch so your project can show current status and history. Domain Rating is only one signal and should not be treated as a guarantee of quality, search performance, or business results.

Performance tracking

Connected Google Search Console and Vercel accounts provide search and traffic data for your project. Reporting depends on the provider's permissions, plan, availability, reporting window, and processing delays. Figures may be cached, delayed, incomplete, or revised by the provider. Reading an article's indexing status does not request or guarantee indexing.

Free allowance

New users can create one free project with one article and one backlink submission. No payment card is required and the allowance has no expiry. The article becomes available through the blog setup workflow. A backlink submission is not a guarantee of publisher approval or a live backlink.

The free allowance is per user, not per connection or checkout. Deleting a project, disconnecting an integration, or cancelling a subscription does not create another free allowance. Retries of the same included work remain subject to technical and abuse-prevention limits. Your dashboard and saved work remain accessible for free after the allowance is used, while you keep your account.

Continuing daily article and submission work, or adding another project, requires a paid subscription. The free allowance does not automatically convert to a paid subscription.

Billing

Backdrip is billed per project on the plan shown when you subscribe. The price, currency, and any launch offer or price-lock commitment presented when you subscribe form part of your agreement. Unless stated otherwise, paid subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled.

Users who subscribe at the $99 USD monthly launch rate keep that per-project rate forever, including if they cancel and later restart. Any higher standard price introduced in the future applies only to new users, not to users with this launch rate. Restarting after a subscription ends still requires a new checkout, but does not remove your launch-rate entitlement.

Cancelling stops future renewals. Daily article and submission work remains available until the end of your paid period, subject to your settings and the conditions above, then stops. Your dashboard and saved backlink history remain accessible. Restoring before the paid subscription ends does not add a charge. After it ends, restoring starts a new subscription through checkout. Cancellation does not remove articles already published on your website or listings on third-party websites.

You can cancel future renewals, but fees already paid are generally non-refundable except where required by mandatory law or where we confirm a refund in writing. Where a statutory withdrawal right applies, you may exercise it by emailing contact@scapin.co.uk. If you ask us to begin providing the service during a withdrawal period, you may be responsible for the service supplied before withdrawal to the extent permitted by law.

Acceptable use

You may not use Backdrip for spam, illegal content, deceptive claims, malware, impersonation, or websites that infringe someone else's rights. We may refuse, pause, or remove projects that create legal, operational, or reputation risk.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Backdrip available and accurate, but the service is provided as is. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, target lists, integrations, or checks as the product evolves.

If we make material changes to these terms, we will update this page and, when appropriate, notify you by email or in the product.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Poland, except where mandatory local law gives you additional rights.
